WWII USAAF Lt. Colonel Service Shirt With Command Pilot Wings and Trousers

Textbook service shirt, constructed of olive green wool. Miniature period command pilot wings, maker marked “N.S. Meyer Inc. New York”. (A minimum of ten years service and 2000 hours was required for this badge!). The wings are pinned in place over the left chest pocket. Pinned in place to the collar is a Lt. Colonel’s rank badge and to the left collar is a US air force wing insignia pinned in place. To the left upper sleeve is a USAAF insignia machine sewn in place. To the inside neck is the original manufacturing label still in place. The shirt comes with a pair of war time trousers. The trousers is in good condition with light signs of age and use.
