WWII Japanese Named Army Cased 6 x 30 Binoculars "Magna" Wartime Manufactured by "Toko"
€295.00
A used but complete set of cased field binocular which was manufactured during the war. The set consists of a pair of binoculars, a carrying strap, a dust cover, and its leather case with the leather shoulder strap. The original owner’s name “Ichioka” (市岡) appear on the lid of the carrying case. Unfortunately, the anti-slip coating on the main body has been peeled off in part, it isn’t recognizable unless you take it in your hand. All the dials and movable parts are stiff, so we cannot expect it to function like a new pair of binoculars, even though you can see images clearly through the lenses. The right lens has a reticle – a horizontal scale bar crossed with a vertical line in the middle.
Hard to find a complete set, let alone an original wartime example. Also, as an accessory, it would enhance the look of your uniform display!!
