WWII Japanese Army Late War EM/NCO Forage Cap in Very Good Condition

A late war issue army cap in complete and unworn condition. It is made of coarse olive drab wool and comes without an interior lining, but that is typical of a 1945 manufacture. Everything else – the wool yellow army star patch, the size-adjustment string, and the havelock loops, etc. – are all present and intact. It is pristine and absolutely without moth damage. There is no issue stamp but a small perforated kanji letter on the leather sweat band indicates that the cap size is “small.” The cap shows absolutely no signs of moth damage.

A beautiful, minty example of a late war issue cap which is very hard to come by!!
