WW2 Japanese Army 2nd Leutenant's Tunic

“Type 3” officer’s dress tunic with 2’nd Leutenant insignia originally applied to it. It is made of a high-quality olive drab Gabardine wool and is partly lined with Brown/green rayon cloth. The material and the construction is typical of early-mid war period and tailored for an Army officer.  The gold-colored buttons and the pair of large collar tabs, types are proffessionally period-applied by a tailor. The tunic has a name tag hand sewn to above the left inner pocket. Kanji letters hand embroidered in yellow/golden colored rayon threads.

The tunic is in very good condition and shows only light signs of age and use.

Untouched tunic in very good condition. Never been in a Collection Before and comes directly from our picker in Japan!!
