War Merit Cross, 2'class With-Out Swords, With Paper Envelope of Issue

The cross is constructed of die stamped Zinc and comes complete with medal ring, suspension ring and correct ribbed rayon ribbon. The suspension ring is maker marked “50” for “Karl Gschiermeister Gablonz a.d. Neisse”. The cross is in good condition with most of the original bronze color wash still intact. The cross comes with its original paper envelope of issue. The envelope is in good condition but the maker mark stamp has been removed.
