Third Reich Criminal Police Officer’s Identity Tag

The badge is constructed of die struck bronze. The obverse bearing a German national eagle clutching a wreathed swastika. The reverse with a raised inscription of “STAATLICHE KRIMINALPOLIZEI” with an issue number of “10199”. There is a drilled suspension hole and the badge meassures: 51mm x 37 mm. The badge is in good still used condition with light surface wear and a appealing age patina.
