Schutzpolizei Zugwachtmeister's Service Tunic

Police green wool tunic features a eight button front closure with a double metal hook and eye at the forward neckline and a lay down collar. The tunic has two pleated, breast pockets and two slash hip pockets. All four pockets have scalloped button down flaps. To the shoulders are shoulder boards sewn and buttoned in place. The boards are constructed of double laid soutache braids. Outer braid running completely around and with one rank pip pinned in place to each for the rank “Zugwachtmeister”. All mounted on green wool. To the collar is correct Schutzpolizei, Junior NCO collar tabs machine sewn in place. To the left sleeve is a schutzpolizei sleeve eagle neatly hand sewn in place. The insignia is sewn on police grey/green cloth with green embroidered national eagle and city designation in green rayon. Swstika is sewn with black rayon threads. There is a three place ribbon bar and a 1914 wound badge in black attached with their pins to sewn award loops. Both ribbon bar and the wound badge comes with the tunic. Inside is fully lined in green rayon and striped white cloth in sleeves.

The tunic shows signs of age and light use. There sis some sweat stains to the lining. There is also a couple of moth holes. See pictures!
