NSKK Second Pattern Driver's Sleeve Insignia

A Driver’s insignia was originally worn by all NSKK members, on their lower left sleeve, but by September of 1939 only those who held one of the four classes of motor vehicle operator’s licenses were permitted to wear them.

 

Black rayon diamond sewn over a wool padding insert, upon which is machine woven in silver-aluminum thread, a second pattern eagle against a six-spoke wheel. Original RZM tag still partly intact to the reverse. In good condition with light signs of age.
