Heer M40 Combat Helmet 

The stamped sheet steel construction helmet retains most of its slightly rough textured field-grey paint. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is complete with. Some of the leather liner “fingers” is broken, most likely chewed by mice. Original size adjustment string is present. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial/lot number “DN 515”, and also maker marked and size “Q66”. Original chinstrap is present. The helmet is in good still used condition, there is three dent’s one at the forehead, one at the neck and one dent at the left side. Most likely from a well aimed air rifle target practice.
