Heer Gebirgsjäger's Bergmütze

A very nice Heer Bergmütze with the short brim and the stiffener inside. Medium to well worn Heer Bergmütze made of high quality, field grey combat cloth material. At front cap have a Bevo T-trapezoid neatly hand sewn in place, also at front two dark green composite buttons. At side it has a aluminium gebirgsjäger edelweiss attached to dark green cloth which then is hand sewn to the cap.  Cap is a typical Bergmütze one, it has the correct short brim, it have the correct type cap stiffener inside, it is like all original bergmützen missing the pull straps. It have a full ersatz sweatband inside and is marked with size “54” as well as maker mark from a Wien manufacturer.

Cap show napwear on all exposed parts but specially at edges and highlighted points. The typical drill lining show dirt and wear. Sweatband also show matching wear to the reast of the cap. Size is small but it will as seen on pictures anyhow display nicely on a smaller display head.

A true and quite scarce Heer Bergmütze which also is in a very nice, used condition!!
