Commemorative Medal of 1'st October 1938

The Commemorative Medal of 1st October 1938 was the second of the “Anschluss” medal series and was introduced on October 18th 1938, for award to civilians and military personnel who participated in the “return” of the Sudetenland to Germany.

The medal is constructed of high quality metal, Buntmetal. The medal retains about 99% of its original bronze/gold paint wash. Complete with original ribbon and medal ring. The medal is in very good condition with a light age patina.
