Winterhilfswerk Donation Can, Gau Weser-Ems
Red painted tin with raised lettering highlighted in silver reading “Gau Weser-Ems” with a round hole on the hinged lid for Papier geld and a slot for coins. Inner lid has coin check mechanism, bottom marked with maker information – M. Westermann & Co., G.m.b.H and with WESCO logo: “Neheim-Ruhr”.
Red lacquer finish is intact to about 65%. The can shows both surfacr rust and pitting, especially to the fold open top.
Used can with signs of age and use. Still looks great on display!!
