Heer 17th Infantry Regiment Officer Visor Cap With Traditions Skull

Cap is in little worn Very Good condition and is made of fine doeskin cloth with white piping which denotes service in Infantery branch. At front visor has bullion Wreath/Cocade as well as a aluminium eagle and the aluminium Braunschweiger tradition skull worn by some companies of the 17 Infantry Rgt. Also at front Officers Heavy Chin cord. Interior is made of golden yellow rayon material showing almost no wear except some slight stainings under the Sweat shield we find no maker or size. Cap has a tan color leather sweatband. Sweatband show matching little wear to the rest of the cap and has no markings on backside.

On the outside the cap also show very little wear. It have no holes, rips or tears, no mothing, no stainings, it almost show no wear at all.  All in all a Very nice very little worn cap which also have a very nice appearance.

We carefully removed the eagle (and naturally put it back in place again) to check if the cap was “born” with the tradition skull in place. One can clearly see there was never another eagle on this cap! Size is approx 57 -58

Very Nice Infantry Rgt 17 Officers cap which would be very hard to upgrade!!
