Heer Generalmajor's Shoulder Boards

Heer Generals shoulder boards utilized gilt bullion and silver braiding but regulations of July 15th 1938, replaced the gilt bullion braid with golden yellow celleon braid.

This is the 1938 pattern, sew on shoulder boards with interwoven strands of Russian braiding with a central silver/aluminum braid flanked by dual golden yellow celleon braids all mounted a red wool base. The pair is in very good condition with minimal signs of age.
