US WWII Army Air Forces Communication Set - Throat Microphone and Headset

Set of communication equipment used by members of the U.S. Army Air Forces. The throat mics were specifically designed to allow communication while wearing an oxygen mask, as required at high altitudes in unpressurized cabins. This affected both pilots as well as air crew members. The throat mic is in very good condition. Headset is complete but the ear rubber pads is very dry.
