(Originally the first pattern straps were constructed in basic field-grey wool until regulations of December 10th 1934 altered the material to field-grey badge cloth. Regulations of September 10th 1935 altered the construction of the field-grey badge cloth to a blue/green badge cloth. The first pattern straps were to replaced with the introduction of the second pattern, rounded tip, shoulder straps on November 26th 1938 and production of the first pattern was discontinued in March 1939). Above right breast pocket is a EM/NCO’s M36 national eagle in white threads on dark green backing, neatly hand sewn in place. To the upper left sleeve is a rank chevron neatly sewn in place. Inside is partly lined with light-grey brushed cotton cloth. Two belt suport hooks are sewn in place. Non adjustable end of cuffs with sewn slit openings. The tunic is in very good condition with light signs of real use. There is some sweat stains to the upper lining and a couple of minor stains. No holes, rips, or mendings. All in all a very well preserved tunic which was carefully used. All insignias are hand sewn which is the right application from a early tunic like this and there is no signs of any previous insignias sewn.

Rare and very interesting tailor made “walking out” tunic which was most likely manufactured 1937 or 1938!!
