Heer Stabsfeldwebel's Late War STUG Wrapper

5,595.00

A very nice example of a late war grey panzer wrap. Excellent heavy grey wool body with grey rayon lining. All correct details such as belt hook suspenders, waist adjustment tapes and internal pockets are intact and clean. Correct inner bias lining material is visible inside each shoulder area. The insignia consists of a miss matched pair of stabsfeldwebel slip-on shoulder straps. Both with pink rayon branch piping, dull grey rank tresse and three silver rank pips pinned in place to each strap. One strap is M44 and the other one is a later m36. Still the pair shows matching each and was is in our opinion used as a pair during the war. Miss matching pairs is not uncommon to find, especially not on later war produced tunics. The collar tab’s are standard machine sewn litzen with pink russian braid machine sewn in place. This is very interesting to see and typical for late war produced wrappers. At right chest is a late war triangular shaped EM/NCO’s national eagle in grey threads on green/grey backing. The eagle is machine sewn in place with fold over top. The left chest has loops for two badges.

The inside is well marked with size stamps, year of production “44” for 1944 and RBnr number. Inside right pocket is also maker marked stamped. The wrapper show slight even wear overall and has moderate napwear to the highlighted positions as well as slight nap all over. There are no holes, repairs, rips, tears or mothing. Just signs of honest wear.

Completely untouched late war wrapper in very good condition!!
