Luftwaffe Day Fighter Squadron Clasp, Gold Grade With Hanger

Two piece construction with separate hanger. Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of a laurel wreath, joined together at the bottom by a swastika, around an upward-pointing winged arrow. The bottom of the wreath with dual integral loops accommodating a star hanger, flanked by laurel leaves. The reverse with a central visible rivet securing in place the obverse arrow, with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback and a round wire catch. Maker marked “CE Junker Berlin SW”. The badge and hanger is in matching condition with some of the gold washed paint still intact.
