Heer Unit Marked Infantry Officers Visor Cap, Erel with distributor markings

Erel Officers visor cap made of finest doeskin cloth with white wool piping denoting service in Infantry branch. Aluminium eagle and wreath/cockade at front as well as Officers heavy aluminium/silver chincord.

Cap is lined in, for the period, typical godlen rayon cloth, which show a lot of wear and sweat stains as well as a small hole. 90% of sweat shield remains and the Erel loggo and the class as well as the distributor is still readable. Cap also have the typical Erel sweatband with the Erel logo at the side which has some tears at one side and a piece missing except that the sweatband is in matchingly worn condition as the rest of the cap. Backside of sweatband has a unit marking “1./I.R.65”

Cap is in a well worn condition. It have however no damage outside except a lot of honest wear, to highlighted positions and some stains and dirt from wear. It has no rips, tears, holes or mothing though. All in all the cap is in a Very Good, well worn condition and is perfect for the collector who want a cap which have “been there”! Cap also have a nice apperance and would look nice in any display. Size approx 57 – 58
