Luftwaffe Flight or Paratrooper Feldwebel's Tropical Tunic

Constructed of thick khaki cotton twill. Six button front closure, buttons attached with “S” rings. Four front pockets, both breast pockets with a decorative pleat, all four pockets with a fold over flap. Shoulder straps with yellow rayon piping, singel silver washed rank pip and tropical rank tresse indicating rank Feldwebel serving in flight or paratrooper branch of service. Machine sewn over and partially to the right breast pocket is a Luftwaffe EM/NCO’s eagle in silver/grey threads on with khaki colored backing. The left breast pocket has two award loops on the pleat and award loops for a flight clasp or longer ribbon bar. One loop has been repaired with a different thread. Medal ribbon for Iron Cross second class 1939 is sewn to the second button hole. Both cuffs are button down style with a singel button for a snug fit at the wrist. There are khaki cotton reinforcing patches sewn in place in the armpits and to the waist.The tunic is stamped on the left side behind the left breast pocket in black ink with the maker’s name and location”OLDAG BERLIN”. Tunic size also clearly visable in black ink. Medic pocket also still intact.

The tunic is in very good condition with minor signs of age and use. No holes, rips, tears or mendings.

Pretty scarce LW tropical tunic in very good condition!!
