Iron Cross First Class 1939, Maker Marked 65

Three piece construction with magnetic, Iron core. The black paint is intact to about 95%. Reverse is complete with hinge, pin and catch. The pin is maker mark stamped with PKZ code “65” for the firm of Klein & Quenzer in Idar/Oberstein. K&Q were one of the firms tasked with making the Knight’s Cross as well. The cross shows a nice age patina all over and is in good still used condition.

Used example in good condition which will display perfectly on a combat tunic!!
