Waffen-SS Nederland Cufftitle

Personnel serving with SS-Freiwilligen-Legion-Niederlande were allowed to wear a Dutch manufactured cufftitle “Legion Niederlande” until November 1941 when the Germans introduced another cufftitle “Frw. Legion Niederlande”. October 1943 a fourth and final pattern cufftitle was introduced “Nederland”.

This is the 4th and last pattern cufftitle as intended for members of the “SS-Freiwilligen-Panzergrenadier-Brigade Nederland”, woven in grey/white thread on black in the so-called ‘BeVo’ weave, the back of the cufftitle shows the salt-and-pepper design. The cufftitle shows the woven script ‘Nederland’. The cufftitle is in slightly shortened at both ends and measures approximately 42cms in length. The cufftitle is in good unissued condition with minor signs of age and storage.
