Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery Badge

The Naval Artillery War Badge or War Badge for the Coastal Artillery was instituted on 24 June 1941 by Grand Admiral Erich Raeder to reward the actions of both individuals and crew members. It was also awarded to coastal artillery cew members killed in action.
The badge is produced of Zinc with a gold and grey paint wash. The gold paint remains to 95%, grey paint is no longer visable. The badge is complete with crimped in hinge, catch and pin. The badge is in very good condition.
Pretty scarce badge in very good condition!!
