Award Document Grouping Awarded to Pioneer, Mot Brückenkol B Obergefreiter Richard Käsewieter

The grouping consists of three award documents. All awarded to Pioneer Brückenkol B 1/430 (mot). Obergefreiter Richard Käsewieter. This unit was specialiced in building bridges under combat condition. This unit was equiped with first of all all materials needed to construct a bridge up to 130meters long, Motor boots and “sturmbooten”. The grouping consists of following documents:

• Iron Cross Second Class 1939. Awarded 19/11 1943. Signed by Walther Veiss (RK and Oaks holder) General der Infanterie and commander of the second army. The document is folded once and is in good condition.

• Wound badge in black 1939. Awarded 1/10 1943. Signed by the Major and commander of Brüko-Staffel 928. The document is folded once and is in good condition.

• East front medal. Awarded 11/02 1944. Signed, “im felde” by a Hauptmann and commander. The document is folded once and is in good condition.

Very nice document grouping to a scarce unit!!
