This grouping consists of a M1944 “IKE” OD wool field jacket with a 1’st Infantry Division shoulder badge, Technician 5th Grade sleeve badges, two 6-month overseas bars and a Meritorious Unit Citation Sleeve Patch. All machine sewn in place. Attached to the shoulder straps to the arms is: Fourragere, Belgian Army, lanyard awarded to American units who fought with distinguished service in the liberation of Belgium in World War Two and a U.S. Army WWII French Fourragere warded to American units who fought with distinguished service in the liberation of France. There is a white oil tag sewn to the interior of the left facing breast pocket that shows year of production 1944. Thye tunic is complete and in very good condition with minor signs of age and use.
The tunic comes with a US WWII overseas cap in matching very good condition. Included is also a couple of peirod papers, driver license, ID card, ration card and a occupation bill.
