Heer Splinter Tarn Helmet Cover

This fully reversable Heer helmet cover is constructed of smooth cotton cloth. Plain white inside and printed Heerestarnmuster 31 camo pattern to the obverse (also called Splinter tarn). Constructed of 5 pieces of camouflage cloth with a larger center piece. 7 foliage loops are positioned with three to the center cloth, front, top and back and the other 4, two to each side. The cover has all parts machine sewn in place. The original white cloth drawstring is still in place. The cover shows clear signs of real use with some minor soiling and what we like to see from a well used cover heavy wear marks at the lower edge (pressure marks from the helmet edge). Inside shows two mendings which looks to be period made with marsh pattern cloth roughly machine sewn in place (see pictures). Cover shows still strong colors and looks great on display.
