Family Purchased Luftwaffe Flight Jacket "Kanaljacke"

The jacket is produced of a cotton/rayon blend with fine blue colored velvet lining and collar. Front is closed by a “RHEINNADEL” marked zipper. Each sleeve ends with a zipper marked “ZIPP” with intact leather pull. Inside the end of sleeves we find a water/wind protecting inner cuff which is complete with size adjustable button configuration. To the inside left lapel we find the original maker’s tag which reads: “KARL HEISLER BERLIN C2, Magazin Str 14”. The tag is also sized marked “IIa” in purple ink. All zippers and buttons intact and functional but leather loop for electronic to the inside is removed. The jacket shows only minor signs of age and use. There is some wear to the cuff ends and light color fading to exposed parts. Overall in very good still used condition.

This flight jacket comes directly from the veterans son and has never been in a collection before. The pictures shows the original owner of this tunic. We sadly could not buy the pictures, so they are not included in the sale (besides in digital form as shown).

Very hard to upgrade this super nice flight jacket which comes directly from the family in Germany!!
